Hekna-Her­mann Knapp GmbH & Co. KG was foun­ded in 1867. Today it is a medi­um-sized, fami­ly-owned com­pa­ny with a long tra­di­ti­on in lock­ma­king, in par­ti­cu­lar cylin­der locks and lock sys­tems for all are­as of fur­ni­tu­re con­s­truc­tion overy many decades.

Our ongo­ing chall­enge and pas­si­on is to fur­ther impro­ve suc­cessful pro­ducts, deve­lop new pro­ducts, and to hear our cus­to­mers’ wis­hes and make them reality.

We remain an open-min­ded, capa­ble, and relia­ble part­ner for our cus­to­mers thanks to our expe­ri­en­ced and moti­va­ted employees and sta­te of the art pro­duc­tion technology.

We were suc­cessful­ly repre­sen­ted at the inter­z­um in Colo­gne for the 25th time wit­hout inter­rup­ti­on in 2019.

As the coro­na pan­de­mic has resul­ted in the inter­z­um 2021 only being staged as an online event, we have deci­ded not to par­ti­ci­pa­te this time.

We are loo­king for­ward to the next pre­sence trade fair in 2023.

The role of qua­li­ty con­trol is to moni­tor our latest pro­duc­tion methods, ensu­ring that we always meet our high pro­duc­tion and qua­li­ty standards.

We main­tain at least two of each vital pie­ce of pro­duc­tion equip­ment in order to pre­vent pos­si­ble down­ti­me or bot­t­len­ecks. This is the only sure way to gua­ran­tee that you can rely on us as a partner.
